01 / Privacy

What we collect and why

When you apply, we collect the details you enter: your name, date of birth, contact information, location, social handle, skills, experience, remarks, and photos. We use them to review your application, match you with suitable opportunities, contact you about casting, and manage your account.

If you register for an event, we also keep your registration and payment status. Paid checkout is handled through Razorpay. Online sessions may involve video, audio, reactions, and an event recording when recording is enabled for that event.

We may use your contact details for event or application updates. We do not promise a role, and submitting a profile does not make it public on this website.

02 / Data protection

How we handle your information

Application information is available to the Fish Mango Tree team members who review talent and administer events. We also use service providers for hosting, photo storage, email, payments, and online sessions where those services are needed.

You can edit some account details in your profile. You may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of your information using the contact method below. We consider requests in light of the purpose of your application and any records we need to keep for legal or payment reasons.

We keep information while it is needed for casting, events, account management, and required records. We review requests to remove information that is no longer needed. Please avoid uploading photos or documents you do not have permission to share.

03 / Cookies & sessions

How your browser remembers you

Sign-in sessionA user_token cookie keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours. Signing out clears it.
Theme choicefmt-theme is saved in local storage so the site remembers your white or dark theme.
Payment checkoutRazorpay may use its own browser storage when you open a paid event checkout.

You can clear site data in your browser settings. Clearing the sign-in cookie signs you out; clearing local storage resets your theme to white. The site currently does not add advertising cookies of its own.

04 / Site terms

Using the talent hunt

Provide accurate information that belongs to you and only upload photos you are allowed to share. Keep your account access private and use event spaces respectfully. We may restrict access when activity disrupts an event or affects other participants.

You keep ownership of the material you submit. By applying, you allow our team to review that material for casting and event administration. We would seek separate permission before using your application photos in public promotion.

Applying does not guarantee an audition, invitation, shortlist, or role. Event details, availability, and schedules can change; the event page is the place to check current information.

05 / Events & payments

Before you join an event

Some events are free and some require payment. The event page shows the applicable price and details before you register. Paid registrations use Razorpay checkout; Fish Mango Tree receives a payment status and related transaction reference.

Cancellation and refund decisions depend on the event and the circumstances. Contact the organiser listed on the event page about a cancellation or refund request. A cancelled registration does not automatically reverse a payment.

If an event offers a recording or media gallery, access is limited to the audience shown for that event. Please do not record, download, or redistribute another participant's image or voice without permission.

06 / Contact

Questions or data requests

For an event question, use the organiser contact on its event page. For an application or data request, contact Fish Mango Tree through the official email address used for your application confirmation.

We may update these policies as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version published here.
